And all that is within me,

And forget none of His benefits.

Have Faith, God Is In Control

God has never left man without instruction.  Even before the years of silence between the Testaments God gave us hope and insight that his plan was still being played out.  This gives us hope and confidence today in the one and only all powerful God, just as it did with Daniel and those who heeded Jeremiah, Ezekiel and himself.  Those who God chose to prophesy of the captivity, return from captivity and the future plan that would come in the fullness of time.

I'm thankful we live when God's mystery has been revealed and come to fruition.  He has explained his plan and shown evidence of his divine omniscience and omnipotence.  He has explained that things happen only on his time and after the fullness of time has come.  "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons" (Galatians 4:4-5).  God's divine timing was perfect and not an after thought.  "...but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.  He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you  who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God"  (1 Peter 1:19-21).  "...and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,"(Ephesians 3:9-11).

This quarter in the auditorium class we will focus on what God was playing out during the time between the Testaments and remind ourselves that he has always been in control, leaving us needing nothing but faith.  His word documents changes and things we need to be aware and take heed of.  These changes further show us his omnipotence while building up to the introduction of his Son and the things that surrounded Christ.

We can make application today, God is always in control and will continue to play out His providence regardless. We don't have to go through uncertain times without his complete word to comfort us.  Having his perfect word means we will never have silence.
